You will:

  • Build a repertoire of techniques to help students generate a range of ideas during informative writing 
  • Learn strategies to help students develop their ideas more coherently before they start writing, reducing cognitive overload and providing them with the confidence and expertise to start the writing process  
  • Understand how to provide adequate scaffolding and to differentiate to support all learners in developing ideas to write about
