Using picture books as an example, you will learn how “unplugged” methods can be used to meet learning outcomes around digital technology.  Using her in-depth knowledge of STEM and practical experience from 30 years in the classroom, Meridith will open your eyes to new ways to incorporate digital technologies into your lessons in fun and engaging ways.  

You will:

  • Build your knowledge of digital technologies and the different ways to use unplugged methods to engage students and meet appropriate teaching and learning outcomes
  • Develop innovative and creative ideas using picture books to teach digital technologies, specifically sequencing, algorithms, branching and data representation
